5 Seconds of Summer, better known as 5SOS, is a pop-punk band based out of Australia. They tend to have a edgier style when it comes to their merchandise and posters. I was asked to create a gig poster based off of one of their songs. The song I chose was "Teeth".

This poster is specifically based off of the line "Talk so pretty but you're hearts got teeth." I wanted to be straight forward with the poster but add a little something extra. The poster consists of two hand-drawn hearts overlapped with a 3D effect. The blue heart in the background is a normal heart, representing the "pretty" side. The heart in the foreground represents her heart having teeth, which means she couldn't care less about her partner and doesn't care to hurt them. The main font has been customized and added to so it matches and adds some flare to the poster.
